Educating the Whole Child

Established in 1969, Heritage Hall is a private, coeducational, college preparatory school in Oklahoma City, serving a student body of approximately 850 students from preschool through grade 12.

With low student-to-teacher ratios, our community allows students to thrive in all areas of development – intellectual, creative, social, emotional, and physical – in a safe, friendly environment that embraces all aspects of diversity. No other independent school in the state offers a more balanced approach to educating the whole child.

Because we see our students as future innovators, educators, civic leaders, philanthropists, performers, and policymakers, we promote creative thinking as much as critical thinking, independence as much as collaboration, and self-awareness as much as service to others.

Committed to Our Motto: To Learn • To Lead • To Serve

Our school culture is enriched by an educational philosophy that encourages kindness, truth, and service to others. As early as preschool, our students affirm the values of diversity, mutual respect, and social responsibility – not only as they apply within our own walls, but also within a broader social context.

We teach our students that the gifts of learning and leadership are given so that they may be shared through service to others; wherever we serve, we make a difference in the lives of others.

By the time a student reaches the School’s upper division, he or she will have amassed hundreds of hours in service; as a school community, we donate approximately 20,000 hours of service annually. Distinguished by an indelible compassion to serve, every Heritage Hall graduate is fully prepared for lifelong civic responsibility.

In that same spirit, we are grateful to the many parents, alumni, faculty, and friends who show their support of Heritage Hall through their gifts of time, talent, and resources to benefit our students and faculty. Whether your involvement means volunteering in the classroom, participating in Heritage Hall organizations such as HHSPA or Encore Club, contributing to the Annual Fund, or assisting with events such as our Gala, you are always welcome at Heritage Hall.

Guided by our motto – TO LEARNTO LEADTO SERVE – we are called to inspire and challenge our students to realize their fullest potential at every stage of a lifelong, educational journey.

Thank you, voters! Now is a great time to find out why Metro Family readers voted Heritage Hall "2016 Best Private School, Secondary." Contact our Admission office to schedule a campus tour or shadow day, 405.749.3002.
