Far Beyond Textbooks and Classrooms

We’ll prepare you for admission to the college or university of your choice.  You will learn how to study, how to write, how to think abstractly, and how to express yourself and your ideas.  Your education will be expanded far beyond textbooks and classroom walls.  You will be challenged and encouraged to think of bigger things and to consider them more broadly.

More Than Just Academics

If you’re interested in visual arts, performing arts, or athletics – we’ll help you build a portfolio, fill the theatre seats, or prepare for All-State.  We also have a renowned debate program with teams that compete nationally.  We encourage you to get involved in everything, if you want to.  We’re small enough that you can participate in as many different activities as you wish.

Diverse But Not Too Big

Size may be another consideration as you think about which school to attend.  We’re big enough that you’ll find a variety of interesting students to get to know, but not so big that you have to restrict your friendship to a few.  That’s the beauty of a small school.  You get to know everyone: those who are like you and those who are not.  It’s cool to have friends and classmates from diverse backgrounds.  It makes your experience better.

Rigorous Programs

At Heritage Hall's Upper School, we offer traditional and rigorous programs in both academic and curricular activities which provide a concrete foundation for entrance into colleges and universities.  The Upper School seeks students who want to succeed in school.

Strong College Counseling

Over the course of their high school career, we help prepare students for the next level with our strong college counseling program.  In concert with the quality of our programs, it is the bond between student and teacher and among classmates that sets the Upper School apart from other high school settings.  Our excellent faculty and staff challenge, inspire, and support our students on a daily basis.
