  • An Interim Program for Students in Grades 5-12

HH Explore is an interim, experiential program in grades 5-12 offering an exciting week of opportunities for students and faculty to explore personal interests, discover new disciplines, or pursue their passion for serving the greater community.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

During Explore Week, traditional academic classes are replaced by learning that extends well beyond the classroom. Each year, faculty put together unique, challenging, and enriching courses for students to choose from; these include on-campus offerings, local service opportunities, area explorations, and even domestic and foreign travel. Students are encouraged to immerse themselves – intellectually, interpersonally, and even physically – into various environments for unique experiences that broaden their perspective and deepen their knowledge of themselves, each other, and the world.

Seventh and eighth graders choose from rotating daily offerings based on teacher and student interests.
