Test Prep Courses

ACT Test Preparation

Students in grades 10-12 are introduced to the test format, different styles of questions, strategies, and time-saving skills for each section. To help maximize test scores, we review math, science reasoning, reading comprehension, English – rhetorical skills and grammar (usage and mechanics) – and the optional essay writing section. Students will use practice test questions and receive feedback for answers missed. Students will need to bring a calculator to every class.

ACT Prep Courses are offered for September/October, December, February (FEB, tentative: usually no course offered due to Mid-Winter Break, excessive sports conflicts, weather cancellations, etc.), April, and June. Please register for the June course when Summer at The Hall opens in March. Course will be canceled if fewer than six students register.

Note: Students from other schools are welcome to attend our course!

*The April ACT course is an abbreviated course due to the many spring activities and other schedule conflicts.

Cost: $175 per student

Wed, April 3rd 6-8pm (US room 129)
Sun, April 7th 12-2pm (MS room 105)
