Children’s Author Tom Watson Visits Lower School
On March 9, Heritage Hall Lower School welcomed storyteller Tom Watson, author-illustrator of the popular Stick Dog and Stick Cat children’s book series.
During his interactive presentation, Watson talked about his books, gave students a glimpse into his creative process, and inspired them to tap into their own creativity with a Stick Dog drawing lesson. Watson also introduced his latest book series, Trouble at Table 5.
“Bringing in professional authors like Tom Watson is important because they are so inspiring to young readers, writers, and artists,” observed Lower School Librarian Susan Story.
