    1998 Football State Championship Reception

    The McClendon Athletic Center (MAC)
The journey to The Hall's first Gold Ball in 1998 was one for the ages. Twenty years later, nearly everyone describes the record-breaking 2A state championship season in one word: magical. The 1998 team is widely regarded as being pivotal to the transformation of our football program into what it is today.

Heritage Hall is thrilled to welcome back the 1998 Charger football team and their families to commemorate the 20th anniversary of that incredible season and the Chargers' heart-stopping final win over Tishomingo!

Please join the team in the McClendon Athletic Center on Fri., Nov. 9 from 5:00-6:45 pm (before the round one playoff game) for a pre-game reception. Former NFL star Wes Welker '00 and star quarterback of the '98 team, Graham Colton '00, will be joined by many other standouts from the championship squad and their coachesPublic is invited. Click here to RSVP.

Then, join us to cheer on the 2018 Chargers in the first round playoff game where the 1998 players will be introduced during a special halftime recognition.

As a reminder, tickets to playoff games are $7.00 at the door.
