US Awards Ceremony
Location: Boghetich Gym
The Awards Ceremony, which honors members of the class in particular and the entire class in general. These recognitions include a variety of awards: academic, athletic and activity. We will preview the Senior Video at the end of the ceremony.
Dress: dressy attire (nice clothing/shoes; no shorts, jeans or flip flops)
Notes for seniors:
Bring caps and gowns!
Prior to the awards assembly, the seniors will gather, at 6:15 pm, by the front staircase in Reynolds Common to take the traditional group picture. Please remember to bring both cap and gown with you and to iron your gown ahead of time.
After the group photo, the class of 2017 will head for The MAC, line up alphabetically in the hallway beneath home bleachers. As your name is called, your parents' names and your college choice (if known), you will enter and walk to the next available chair in the section prepared for the senior class.
Though you will wear gowns for the ceremony (no caps/tassels), you will want to wear a nice outfit for the photos afterward. In addition, your footwear, in particular, will be visible to the audience throughout the ceremony.
