Medical Insurance
Heritage Hall underwrites the cost of health benefits for all full-time employees. Dependents may also be covered at employee expense through payroll deductions. 

Upon separation from Heritage Hall, the insurance coverage ceases at the end of the contractual year (June 30, unless otherwise noted). The separating employee may elect COBRA coverage for a maximum of 18 months or until new insurance begins, whichever comes first.

Dental and Vision Insurance

Dental and vision insurance are optional services not covered by Heritage Hall. Employees and their dependents may be covered at employee expense through payroll deduction.

Life Insurance

Full-time employees are covered by life insurance in an amount equal to his or her annual salary, up to $50,000.

Disability Insurance

Heritage Hall underwrites the cost of disability insurance for all employees who work 30 or more hours per week. 

Once all available sick leave has been used, the program pays 60% of the employee's gross salary for the first 180 days, and 67% of the gross salary thereafter until age 65. 

All benefits are continued during the first 180 days of disability.

Worker's Compensation

The School provides this form of insurance to cover the medical costs and loss of pay resulting from injuries or illnesses sustained while executing one's assigned job.

Flexible Spending Plan

Full-time employees have the option to withhold a specified amount (tax-exempt) from their pay to be placed in a holding account for health-related expenses allowed by the IRS. These include group plan health insurance premiums, dependent care expenses, and non-reimbursed medical expenses.
