Heritage Hall is All In for School Counseling Week

Heritage Hall is joining schools across the nation in celebration of National School Counseling Week, February 1-5. Sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), the theme for 2021, School Counselors: All In for Students, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and personal growth, and plan for their futures.

Heritage Hall’s dedicated counseling team supports students and their families through the lower, middle, and upper school years. Please join us in thanking this outstanding group.

School Counselors:
Allison Morris, Lower School
My passion is helping children learn, grow, and become who they are in all realms – social/emotional, academic, and in their life skills – and helping to ensure that there is a seat for everyone in our classrooms, on our teams, and in our school.

Nina McPherson, Middle School
Everyone deserves to have someone cheering them on and supporting them throughout life’s journey, especially in Middle School! My goal is to be a resource of compassion, understanding, and love for all of our families.

Samantha Kobs, Upper School
Students need someone that they can trust and rely on as they navigate life’s twists and turns. To best support their needs, I strive to work with students, individually and collectively, to create a school climate that leads to healthy learning, living, and growth.

Upper School Academic Counselors:
Christina Boghetich ’08
I know that my Heritage Hall experience was better because of the support that I received from our school counselors. Now is my opportunity to help every student realize he/she is strong enough, intelligent enough, and capable enough to accomplish anything.

Parker Cassell ’11
I love to learn and am invested in being part of a culture that produces lifetime learners in an environment that feels like home for all students.

Upper School College Counselors:
Dr. Vicki Schaeffer
Growing up, I had teachers who were always there for me – I want to do the same for my students.

Julie Bramble
I’m all in for helping students on their educational journey – they teach us something new every day!
