Thomas William Sullivan, Jr. '79

Thomas, 51, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on May 11, 2012. He was born on November 12, 1960 to Thomas William Sullivan and Nancy Shipley Sullivan. Thomas graduated from Heritage Hall in 1979, then he went on to attend the University of Oklahoma.
Thomas Sullivan, Jr. Nov. 12, 1960 - May 11, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Thomas William Sullivan, Jr., 51 years of age, died May 11, 2012 in Oklahoma City. Born November 12, 1960 in Oklahoma City to Thomas William Sullivan and Nancy Shipley Sullivan. Tom graduated from Heritage Hall in 1978 where he was a standout tailback football player. He attended the University of Oklahoma and was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Tom worked for American Plant Products in the 1990's. While there he was instrumental in helping start the Women's First Step Greenhouse. At the time of his passing, Tom was the founder and owner of Comtek Traders, a business he started in May, 2007 to refurbish, recycle, and resale computer equipment and printers. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Nancy Sullivan. He is survived by one sister, Patricia Carlene Sullivan Pickens of Yukon; and one brother, Michael Scott Sullivan of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by two nieces, Stephanie Pickens of Norman and Stacy Pickens of Edmond; and two nephews, Michael Ray Sullivan of Edmond and Nate Sullivan of Oklahoma City, and their mother Cindy Sullivan of Oklahoma City. Tom leaves a host of family, friends, and acquaintances all across the state whose lives he influenced and mentored through the years. Finally, Tom leaves behind his faithful dog, Deefer. Tom's favorite hobbies were golf, fishing, camping, and traveling. An avid sports fan, he especially loved to follow the OU Sooners.
