Ryanne West Hauschild, 30, of Edmond, died June 17, 2009. The oldest of three children, Ryanne was born April 27, 1979, in Norman. Ryanne graduated from Heritage Hall High School in 1997 and attended the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2001.
Ryanne West Hauschild, 30, of Edmond, died June 17, 2009. The oldest of three children, Ryanne was born April 27, 1979, in Norman. Ryanne graduated from HeritageHallHigh School in 1997 and attended the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2001. Ryanne was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where she sat in the same place weekly. She loved the church and particularly the choir. She also enjoyed her job as a pharmacy technician at Walgreen's Pharmacy on 33rd and Boulevard and took her responsibilities seriously, even using sign language and Spanish to help her customers. Ryanne loved music and was an accomplished pianist. Kanakuk Kamps, the Catholic Church, and her huge family were a big part of Ryanne's life, and she lived by the motto of God first, others second, I'm third. Ryanne was in a terrible car accident in 1996, where she suffered a traumatic brain injury. She blessed all who knew her with another 13 years of life. She embraced the past many years by being a friend to everyone. She had a great smile and loved life. She spent much of her free time with her dog, Joey, taking pictures at family gatherings, watching movies, and making people laugh. Ryanne is survived by her parents, Debe and Rick Hauschild and Ted and Janie West; sister, Lauren Hauschild; brothers, Rich Hauschild and Blaine Rider; grandparents, Dean Allen, Bob Snow, JB and Wanda Slemp; boyfriend, Kevin Ring; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Patty Allen, Willie and Stan West and Richard and Connie Hauschild. The family will receive visitors Sunday night from 6pm-8pm at Smith and Kernke at 14624 North May Ave. Rite of Christian Burial Mass will be Monday morning at 9:30 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 9th and Boulevard in Edmond.
