Our school culture is enriched by an educational philosophy that encourages kindness, truth, and service to others. As early as preschool, our students affirm the values of diversity, mutual respect, and social responsibility – not only as they apply within our walls, but also within a broader social context.
While service-learning is practiced in each division at Heritage Hall, it is a requirement for graduation in the Upper School, where students must earn 25 service hours yearly. Service hours are granted for volunteer experiences completed with nonprofit agencies that have been pre-approved by the Director of Service Learning.

“Through the service-learning program, I learned to humble myself and understand that everyone doesn’t have it as easy as I do. My service and interaction with a wide range of people will help me throughout life.”

“I have learned to be more patient and flexible through serving others. Serving at Heritage Hall has also helped me realize the impact I can make on others, and I am forever grateful.”
Heritage Hall is a co-educational college preparatory school in Oklahoma City. As one of the few secular private schools in the state, we offer a challenging academic curriculum for students from preschool through grade 12, as well as unique leadership opportunities, a wide spectrum of athletics, and a well developed fine arts program.
