Visual Arts

Heritage Hall's visual art courses enhance our core academic curriculum by broadening the scope and vision of students and encouraging them to view things differently from ways they have before. Through visual and tactile arts, students develop hand/eye coordination to transform those observations into two or three-dimensional interpretations.

A beginning course, Foundations of Art, is required for all first-time visual art students as an introduction to all the processes available. In the more advanced art classes, such as Ceramics, 3-D Design, Photography, and Studio Art, students are encouraged to submit art creations to local contests like the Young Talent in Oklahoma (YTO) contest.
