Awards of Distinction

HHAA Alumni Scholarship

The Heritage Hall Alumni Association is accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship award through Friday, Aug. 21.

The $2,500 award includes a $2,000 scholarship for a Heritage Hall graduate and a $500 donation to the 501(c)(3) charitable organization of the recipient’s choice.

Eligible applicants must have completed at least one year of higher education and demonstrate how they continue to live the Charger Code by learning with honor, leading with courage, and serving with compassion through leadership and volunteer service in their communities.

  • Distinguished Alumni Award

    The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes a Heritage Hall graduate whose personal accomplishments, professional achievements, or service to others exemplify the School’s commitment to learning, leadership, and service.
    The award recipient is honored by the Heritage Hall Alumni Association and celebrated by the Charger community for making a meaningful impact in their profession, community, or beyond.
    Submit a nomination for the 2027 Distinguished Alumni Award and help the HHAA recognize an outstanding Heritage Hall graduate.
     
In 2026, the HHAA celebrated Dr. Elizabeth “Betsy” Jett ’91 as the 14th Distinguished Alumni Award recipient.

  • Distinguished Faculty Award

    The Distinguished Faculty Award recognizes a current faculty member who has been on staff for a minimum of five years, and who has exhibited exceptional dedication and commitment to inspiring and educating lifelong learners.
     
    Each August, a personalized plaque and monetary gift are presented to the recipient during the annual Faculty Recognition Luncheon. In addition, a financial contribution to the HHAA Distinguished Faculty Endowment Fund is made in the honoree's name.
In 2025, the HHAA celebrated Margaret Murray as the Distinguished Faculty Award recipient.
