- Located inside the Lower School
Library lessons are designed to cultivate a love of literature and an enthusiasm for investigation. Our library program coordinates with the curriculum, especially in the areas of language arts, social studies, and science. Students learn to navigate through many resources, including how to find fiction and nonfiction books and how to access our age-appropriate databases. The research skills our students learn, using such databases as PebbleGo, give them an edge as they move to the more complex research skills needed in middle school.
The Lower School Library is supported by an enthusiastic core of volunteers, as well as Upper School mentors. Who support the Scholastic Book Fair, help with inventory and special projects, and coordinate off-site events, such as Barnes & Noble Night.
